OBTAINING THE STATUS OF AUTHORIZED PHYSICAL PERSON IN ROMANIA

Are you a natural person, Romanian citizen or foreign citizen of the EU member states or the European Economic Area? By observing the requirements provided by Law no. 300/2004, you can develop economic activities on Romania's territory, independently or by setting up family associations.
The authorization for physical persons to develop certain independent economic activities as well as to set up family associations is issued by the city halls of the cities or of the sectors of Bucharest in whose area you reside or you will develop the respective activities.
After obtaining the authorization, the family associations and the natural persons developing independent economic activities must register with the Trade Registry and with the local fiscal authorities, according to the applicable regulations.

You can choose to develop the activities as an authorized physical person under the following forms:

- Authorized physical person developing activities according to the Law no. 300/2004.
- Family association developing activities according to the Law no. 300/2004.
- Liberal professions (lawyers, public notaries, architects, financial auditors, evaluators, enforcement agents, accounting experts and authorized accountants, technical experts, pharmacists, doctors, agents for reorganization and liquidation procedures, journalists)
- Individual agricultural producers.
