BRD Starts Granting Loans In The Framework Of The Loan Guaranteeing Program For SMEs

BRD-Groupe Société Générale sells, beginning today, loans in the framework of the Loan Guaranteeing Program for SMEs.

 

The Loan Guaranteeing Program for SMEs aims at creating a favorable framework to capitalize on Romania’s economic development potential and providing incentives for the business environment through the growth of the SMEs as well as improving their access to funds. The guarantee ceiling granted to BRD is RON 262.8 million and allows the bank to grant a total of RON 525.6 million worth loans.

 

The interest rate offered to eligible SMEs is Robor 3M + 3.5 %, including banking commissions. SMEs can apply for new credit lines, guaranteed by the State in a proportion of 50%, granted for maximum 24 months, of RON 5,000,000 maximum, with the possibility of an extension of maximum 12 months.

 

BRD is experienced in funding SMEs in the framework of State-owned programs. The bank granted loans worth RON 45 million lei in the framework of Mihail Kogalniceanu program that took place between 2011 and 2013.
